MYRTLE BEACH PELICANS
CALL-UP / PROMOTION GRAPHIC TEMPLATE
I made this call-up graphic template early in the season when I noticed that all we had for our players getting promoted to the next level of Minor League Baseball was the generic transaction graphic that was used for any type of transaction. I wanted to make a graphic template that could be used throughout the season to specifically highlight a player who was being promoted. We decided to change wording from "Called Up" to "Promoted" after the first use of it. Here are a few uses of the graphic:
FORMER PELICANS FUTURES GAME GRAPHIC
I was tasked with designing a graphic to be posted to Pelicans social media that shouted out two former Pelicans - James Triantos and Moises Ballesteros - that were representing the Chicago Cubs organization in the MLB All Star Weekend Futures Game and Skills Showcase. I was asked to add a smaller nod to Matt Shaw, the 3rd Cubs prospect who was competing but was not a former Pelican. I chose to add in only 1 picture of him as opposed to 2, and let the copy address his name.
CAM SMITH WELCOME GRAPHIC
The Cubs' 2024 1st round draft pick's first assignment after being drafted was to Myrtle Beach,
and I wanted to make a graphic to highlight that we were welcoming the 14th overall selection
in the 2024 Draft, so I designed this graphic which was posted to Pelicans social media.
GAME WEEK GRAPHICS
I was tasked with creating "Game Week graphics" to be posted to our social media at the beginning of upcoming homestands at Pelicans Ballpark. Below are a few graphics that I designed, with the 2 sizings that were needed for the different social platforms that they were posted on.
PELICANS IN THE CUBS TOP 30 GRAPHIC
I was asked to create a graphic for our social media that highlighted the fact that there were 18 former Pelicans in the first release of the Cubs Top 30 Prospect Rankings for 2024, and this is what I designed. Included are the different sizings of the graphic for the different platforms it was posted on.

This is a lower-third animation graphic that I made to be used in various content throughout the season.
